Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2025

Short version: Doxufy only uses essential authentication cookies. We have no advertising cookies, no analytics tracking cookies, and no third-party marketing cookies.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, or to collect analytics data. This policy explains what cookies Doxufy uses and why.

Cookies we use

Doxufy uses only essential cookies. These are strictly necessary to provide the Service and cannot be disabled without breaking functionality. We do not use performance, analytics, or advertising cookies.

Cookie namePurpose
sb-*-auth-tokenStores your encrypted authentication session so you stay signed in between page loads and browser sessions.
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifierUsed during the OAuth/email verification flow to verify the authentication code. Deleted immediately after login.

Local storage

In addition to cookies, Doxufy stores the following item in your browser's local storage. Local storage data is not transmitted to our servers.

KeyPurpose
doxufy_cookie_consentStores your cookie consent preference (accepted or essential-only) so we do not show the consent banner again.

Third-party cookies

Doxufy does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising technology. We do not set cookies on behalf of any advertising network.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling or deleting authentication cookies will sign you out of Doxufy and prevent you from remaining signed in.

To clear your consent preference and see the cookie banner again, clear your browser's local storage for doxufy.com or use your browser's developer tools to delete the doxufy_cookie_consent key.

Changes to this policy

If we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this policy and notify registered users by email of any material changes.
